There is no strict dress code for the event, but we recommend business casual attire. On the second day of the convening, we’ll take a group photo wearing Newman Civic Fellow t-shirts, so please plan to wear the t-shirt or something you can layer the t-shirt over for the photo.
If you arrive before check in on Thursday, you can check your luggage with the hotel if you would like to sightsee. On Saturday, you will be able to bring your luggage with you to the JFK Museum and we will have luggage storage available.
Aloft Boston Seaport District is located 3 miles from the airport, making it a quick drive via Uber or Lyft. Alternatively, you can also take the T (part of the MBTA system) from the airport to the World Trade Center stop on the Sliver Line, located .5 mile (about a 10-minute walk) from the hotel.
Campus Compact will provide transportation between the hotel and venues.

Campus Compact will comply with all state and local guidelines at the time of your visit. These requirements may change between when your visit is booked and the day of your visit. The Institute will communicate with you as soon as possible if any requirements need to be adjusted for your visit.
Valet parking is available at the Aloft Hotel for $50 a day. Cheaper options may be found at convention center lots nearby or by using apps such as SpotHero. Street parking is 2 hours only and parking restrictions are heavily enforced.
Yes, parking is available at both the Edward M. Kennedy Institute and JFK Museum free of charge.
