Campus Compact will cover your hotel room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston Bayside for the evening of October 28. All rooms are double occupancy. When you register, we'll ask for your preference on gender for your roommate. There is an option to ask for a single room—however, you'll need to cover the $145 expense for a single room. 

If you need an additional night (for either October 27 or October 29), please let us know during the registration process. We will request the room on your behalf—however, the additional expense is your responsibility. 

Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm. Should you stop by the hotel prior to the conference venue, the hotel can store your luggage if your room is not ready. They can also with hold your luggage on departure day. If you need to keep your bag with you, we will have storage areas available at the venue.

During the registration process, you'll be able to let us know about any dietary restrictions. Please note that we're unable to offer Kosher or Halal meals.

Getting to Boston

All students are responsible for coordinating any transportation needed to get to Boston for the conference.

Getting to and from Logan airport

The Doubletree Boston Bayside Hotel offers limited scheduled transportation to and from Logan airport. You can also take the T (part of the MBTA system) from the airport to the JFK/UMass stop located across from the hotel.

• From the airport (free): From baggage claim at your terminal, follow signs to the Silver Line (it's similar to a bus). At the last stop, South Station, follow signs on the platform to transfer to the Red Line toward Ashmont/Braintree. Get off at JFK/UMass—the 3rd stop from South Station.
   
• To the airport (fare required): Take the Red Line toward Alewife to South Station. From the subway platform, follow the signs to transfer to the SL1 Silver Line outbound to the airport.

Getting to and from hotel, EMKI and JFK Museum
The Doubletree Boston Bayside Hotel is one mile from the institute and museum. The walk is mostly flat. You can also take the UMass #1 bus from the T stop to the institute and museum.

On Friday evening, we'll be running an additional bus to take you from the museum back to the hotel.
