Build your skills & your network!
Come together with other community-committed students from around the country for the 2022 Convening of Newman Civic Fellows. During the convening, you'll get to tighten your bonds with other Fellows, learn from civic and community engagement experts about organizing and making positive change, and experience hands-on democratic learning at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum. Each year, fellows say that this in-person convening is a highlight of the fellowship—we hope you'll join us!

COVID-19 Precautions
We can’t wait to see you in person in October—and we want you to feel completely confident about your decision to join us.
We’re carefully tracking all the latest health and safety guidance for large group gatherings from the CDC, state and local government, and our conference venues. Right now, masks are not required but are recommended at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute and the JFK Presidential Library and Museum, but that may change. We will keep you informed and post updates on this page in the event of any updates.
In the event that you are sick or not feeling well in the days prior to the conference, please stay home.
