About this event

The ability to bridge across differences starts with doing our own work.

The Intercultural Development Learning Community is a distinctive, cohort-based curriculum for up to 20 community engagement practitioners who want to understand and enhance their intercultural competency. Over three months of virtual meetings and independent work, participants will create and nurture their own community of professionals dedicated to the tenets of cultural humility.

Starting with taking the Intercultural Development Inventory assessment and then working our way through a series of 10 modules, we will work together to:

  • Unlearn previous ways of engagement that may not serve us in a time of increasing diversity
  • Reframe how we approach intercultural communication as community engagement professionals/practitioners
  • Learn together how to best move forward in our work.

This Learning Community will meet on the following dates from 3:00 - 4:30 PM ET:

  • September 18th and 25th
  • October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th
  • November 6th, 13th, and 20th

Please register by September 15th to be considered for this Learning Community!
