Compact24: Registration

Thank you for deciding to join us for Compact24! We know that you will leave the conference with new connections, vital knowledge, and inspiration to support you and help you grow in your work. However, we know that sometimes it's not up to you to decide whether you get to go.

That said, we believe we can all do the work better if we make time for growth, relationship building, and new ideas. We hope these tools will help you justify the time and cost associated with the Compact24 conference. If you need specific information about conference programming or what sessions to expect, get in touch! We're here to help you.

Tips:

Emphasize the specific skills you'd like to strengthen or develop at the conference. Connect the projects you're working on and areas you're trying to develop with specific conference offerings.
Offer to take detailed notes and deliver a short presentation for your colleagues. That way, others will benefit from your attendance as well.
Share the conference schedule and speaker bios with your colleagues and engage them in determining which sessions to attend. Offer to meet with speakers of interest and connect them to your institution.
Show that you're conscious of costs by finding ways to reduce the expenses, such as taking advantage of the best available rate.

This year, I’d like to attend Campus Compact's Compact24 conference. Compact24 takes place April 7-10, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. Civic and community engagement professionals, engaged scholars, senior administrators, and community partners from institutions across the country will come together for sessions focused around the theme, "Now is the Moment: Higher Education Civic and Community Engagement as the Way Forward." Through workshops, panels, keynotes, interactive discussions and more, the conference will explore ways higher education can contribute to building a democracy that leads to opportunity and voice for all. Compact24 is the largest and most inclusive conference focused on higher education civic and community engagement. Check out some of the videos and session materials from previous conferences—it looks like a great event.

I think this conference is a great opportunity for us to learn from other institutions, engage with leaders in the field, connect with potential partners, and bring back new techniques and best practices to campus.
