About this event
TRUCEN lightning sessions spotlight four campuses engaged in promising work around a specific theme. This session will focus on how campuses gather and highlight faculty contributions to community-engaged work.
In today’s higher education landscape, metrics and data about community engagement are essential for sustaining and strengthening the work. That means campuses depend on faculty to share their community-engaged activities so they can be recognized and counted. At the same time, faculty face growing demands for reporting, making it challenging to collect accurate, timely, and complete information.
In this 90-minute session, attendees will:
- Learn about the strategies and plans four campuses use to make it easier for faculty to share their community-engaged activities.
- Explore ways to streamline and support the process while reducing administrative burden.
- Engage directly with two presenters in small-group breakout rooms to ask questions and exchange ideas.
Discover practical, faculty-friendly strategies for celebrating and capturing the full scope of community engagement on your campus.
Agenda:
- Framing/introductions by moderator

- Two rounds of break-out groups (each 15 minutes) where attendees can choose which presenter they want to have a follow-up conversation with
