What is Compact20?
Compact20 is Campus Compact’s 2020 biennial national conference.

Where is Compact20?
Compact20 will take place in Seattle, WA. The main events will be at the Hyatt Regency Seattle and special events will be held at the University of Washington. There is a light rail connection between the two venues. Read more about the venues by clicking “Plan Your Trip” above or visiting events.compact.org/conference/plan.

When should I be in Seattle?
Compact20 begins on Sunday, March 29, with some special events: the Summit of Presidents & Chancellors and the Campus Compact Impact Awards Celebration. The regular conference begins at 8:30 AM on Monday, March 30, and runs through 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1.

REGISTRATION

Can I register for Compact20?
Registration is open now through March 22, 2020. You can register by clicking the link in the menu above, or by visiting  events.compact.org/conference/begin. Be sure to register early--our last conference sold out six weeks in advance!

Do I need to be a Campus Compact member to attend?
No! Anyone is welcome to attend. (But don't be surprised if you find yourself joining soon after.)

How can I edit my registration?

How can I cancel my registration?
Cancel your registration by emailing Lauren at lcramer@compact.org before January 31, 2020, to be refunded the value of your ticket less a $100 cancelation fee. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations after January 31, 2020. However, at any point before the conference, you may transfer your full registration to another person at no cost by contacting Lauren at lcramer@compact.org.

How can I register a group?
During registration, you will be able to add multiple guests in one transaction. You will be able to select separate tickets and experiences for each guest. Groups of five or more will be eligible for a discounted rate.

Do I need to sign up for the sessions?
From Monday, March 30 to Wednesday, April 1, registered attendees may attend any session listed in the conference schedule. Seating at sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early. Pre-conference sessions, the Campus Compact Impact Awards Celebration, the Summit of Presidents & Chancellors, and community tours all require separate tickets, which are available as part of our normal registration process. If you would like to add to or change an existing reservation, click here.

RATES, SCHOLARSHIPS & DISCOUNTS

How do you determine the cost of registration?
We work hard to keep the cost of registration low by pursuing ambitious fundraising goals to subsidize conference costs. We are always looking for sponsors & exhibitors to contribute to help us keep our conference as budget-friendly as possible.

Are scholarships available?
We are currently looking for partners to sponsor student attendance at the conference. In the event that student scholarships become available, we will notify our mailing list. To be sure to receive news about scholarships and more, sign up for our mailing list.

What discounts are available?
Discounted admission is available to all faculty and staff at Campus Compact member institutions. To find out if you are a member, contact your local state or regional Compact or Maria Gregory at mgregory@compact.org. Discounted admission is also available for groups of five or more, students, and community partners. Learn more about registration rates at events.compact.org/conference/registration.

How can I volunteer at Compact20?
Campus Compact will seek a limited number of volunteers for the Compact20 conference. Volunteers provide valuable support in a number of important roles, such as serving as session proctors and assisting at registration. As a volunteer, you will receive complimentary conference admission and will be able to attend some conference sessions on your assigned day(s). Sessions are fantastic and a great way to learn about campus and community partnership work. You may sign up for multiple days and will receive a t-shirt to wear during your shifts. Conference meals are included but Campus Compact can not cover transportation or lodging costs.

Volunteer opportunities will be opened closer to the date of the conference. Preference will be given to students and national service members.
