Duke University, in partnership with Campus Compact, invites colleagues for a panel discussion focused on the role of the university during a time of remarkable political upheaval and polarization. The panel will engage current and past Presidents in conversation about what it means to fulfill our missions to educate for active and informed democratic participation while fostering a wide range of political expression. We will discuss the unique threats and opportunities that have confronted us individually and collectively as a sector, how we have responded, and how we should respond. We invite you to listen in to this important conversation.  Those participating virtually will be joined by a small in person gathering at Duke.

Free | Open to Campus Compact members only
