The purpose of this session is to increase awareness of how culture and language influences interpersonal and intercultural encounters. Often times, individuals and organizations have good intentions but fail to consider how a differing worldview can limit the effectiveness of their efforts. Participants will walk away with an increased awareness of the dynamics at play and ways to enhance engagement and outreach to culturally diverse groups.
