Dr. William V. Flores currently teaches Political Sciences and Nonprofit Management courses and is the former president of the University of Houston-Downtown. He served as CEO and Vice Chancellor at Antioch University in Santa Barbara, served as Deputy Secretary for the Department of Higher Education in New Mexico and prior to that as Executive Vice President and Provost at New Mexico State University. He is co-editor of the book, "Democracy, Civic Engagement, and Citizenship in Higher Education (Lexington Books, 2019).
