From 2015 to 2019, Michael served as Executive Director of the Center for Community Engaged Learning and Research at The College of New Jersey. Michael previously served as environment division coordinator at TCNJ’s Bonner Institute. Michael is also an affiliate faculty member of the TCNJ Political Science Department, teaching courses on political theory and environmental politics. Prior to TCNJ, Michael was an assistant professor in the Department of History and Political Science at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut. He earned his Ph.D. in political theory from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities, and his BA in Politics and German Studies from Ithaca College.
