Lisa Nelson earned her MSE from Wayne State College (WSC) in 2007. As the Director of Service-Learning she oversees all Service-Learning projects and events, chairs the Service-Learning Advisory Committee and is actively involved in the campus’s embedded Service-Learning in Study Abroad opportunities. In 2009, Nelson was presented with the Research Commendation in Service-Learning by the Midwest Consortium and in 2019 received the Professional Staff award at WSC. Nelson is also a Professional Staff Senator and co-advises three honor societies.
