Julia Heinen, Interim Director of Community Engagement and Professor of Music at California State University, Northridge. Her research interests include Arts Integration as a Vehicle for Engagement, High Impact Practices in the Arts, and Using Mindfulness for Performance Success. She has served as the Special Assistant to the Dean of CSUN’s Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication from 2016-2019 and associate chair in the Department of Music.
