With just under nine years of experience as a Community Engagement Practioner, Madeline has extensive experience working with all stakeholders impacted by community engagement in both comfortable and uncomfortable settings. Her research has been into how service learning experiences influence a students' perception of their capacity for caring for their community. Paired with the social and political polarization that has gripped the nation, what the world needs most are empathy and humanizing conversation.
