Amira Hutcherson is a sophomore at Stanford, majoring in political science and minoring in education with an interest in fostering civic engagement in youth. On campus, she works as a Student Research Assistant for the Stanford Democracy Hub. She is also an Events Team Member and Community Engagement Lead for the Stanford Political Union, an Executive Team Member of Stanford Democracy Day, and an Up to Us Network Leadership Civic Fellow.
