A continuation of the 2025 Democracy Inventory Design Guide session, this workshop aims to share practical insights from Stanford University as a case study. More than three years after conducting its own inventory: what are the lessons learned, bright spots and unexpected uses, and insights that others might benefit from? Stanford Democracy Hub leaders and students will share how they launched and are sustaining their campus inventory, and ways in which it has increased knowledge, improved coordination, and elevated democratic efforts across campus. Presenters and participants will then explore together challenges and strategies with the overall purpose of equipping participants to make the best use of the Democracy Inventory Guide within their own campus communities.
