Campuses talk about hope; this session shows how civic grace—public-spirited generosity, reciprocity, and repair—turns that hope into measurable impact. We present a replicable Newman Civic Fellow mini-grant project that operationalizes civic grace in dialogue and community partnership. Attendees see exactly how we scoped goals, set norms, budgeted, and gathered evidence with a light pre/post pulse survey. We surface common pitfalls (funding timing, scope creep, data collection fatigue) and the simple practices that sustained trust across difference. Participants leave with a 90-day action plan, a 5-column budget template, and an artifact checklist for end-of-year showcases. This Promising Practice makes civic grace concrete for students, partners, and institutions working to rebuild democratic life together.
