Description

Ball State University's C4G is a three-year, campus-wide initiative to embed character formation and civic learning across curriculum, co-curriculum, and community partnerships. With a new Civic Studies Minor, faculty development, student leadership, and statewide partners, C4G is designed to reach thousands of students and hundreds of faculty while generating measurable civic-character outcomes and durable infrastructure. This session shares a concise, replicable package: the virtue/competency framework; the course and faculty network architecture; partner roles; a five-column budgeting template; and a light-lift assessment plan suitable for student-led projects and community timelines. Participants leave with a 90-day implementation checklist and artifacts they can adapt on their campuses.
