All discounts become active on September 16 when general registration opens

Members-only group discount: 10% off the Early Bird and Regular rates for Campus Compact members when you register a campus team of four or more together. The group rate cannot be combined with already discounted student or national service member rates. Use code "Group" at checkout to apply.
Community partner discount: Community-based nonprofits or organizations who are actively partnering with a campus are eligible for discounted conference admission. Submit a community partner rate request form to be considered for this opportunity.
Nonprofit & association discount: nonprofits and higher educations who are actively partnering with Campus Compact are eligible for discounted conference admission. Submit a nonprofit & association rate request form to be considered for this opportunity.
* The full-time student rate is only available to registrants whose primary role is as a full-time graduate or undergraduate student

The Fine Print:

Cancellations: Cancel your registration by emailing us at conference@compact.org before March 1, 2026, to be refunded the value of your ticket less a $100 cancellation fee. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations after March 1, 2026. Our cancellation deadline is based on a few factors, including locked-in food & beverage costs, hotel room booking minimums, and ordering of conference materials. In the event of extenuating circumstances that make it necessary to cancel after the deadline, please reach out to Compact staff at conference@compact.org. We may be able to offer options to recoup costs, such as comped registration for next year's conference.
Substitutions: at any point before the conference, you may transfer your full registration to another person at no cost by contacting us at conference@compact.org.
Additions: Click here to make changes to your existing registration.
Speakers: Speakers must register by February 6, 2026 to ensure their session remains in the conference program.

Thank you for deciding to join us for Compact26! We know that you will leave the conference with new connections, vital knowledge, and inspiration to support you and help you grow in your work. However, we know that sometimes it's not up to you to decide whether you get to go.

That said, we believe we can all do the work better if we make time for growth, relationship building, and new ideas. We hope these tools will help you justify the time and cost associated with the Compact26 conference. If you need specific information about conference programming or what sessions to expect, get in touch! We're here to help you.

Tips:

Emphasize the specific skills you'd like to strengthen or develop at the conference. Connect the projects you're working on and areas you're trying to develop with specific conference offerings.
Offer to take detailed notes and deliver a short presentation for your colleagues. That way, others will benefit from your attendance as well.
Share the conference schedule and speaker bios with your colleagues and engage them in determining which sessions to attend. Offer to meet with speakers of interest and connect them to your institution.
Show that you're conscious of costs by finding ways to reduce the expenses, such as taking advantage of the best available rate.

Sample Letter:

This year, I’d like to attend Campus Compact's Compact26 conference. Compact26 takes place March 16-18, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. Civic and community engagement professionals, engaged scholars, senior administrators, students and community partners from institutions across the country will come together for sessions focused around the theme, "Hope Found Here: Advancing Community and Civic Engagement through Compassion, Action, and Unity." Through workshops, panels, keynotes, interactive discussions and more, the conference will explore ways higher education can serve the public good through intentional action, shared storytelling, collaborative partnerships, and compassionate connection. Compact26 is the largest and most inclusive conference focused on higher education civic and community engagement. Check out some of the videos and session materials from previous conferences—it looks like a great event.

I think this conference is a great opportunity for us to learn from other institutions, engage with leaders in the field, connect with potential partners, and bring back new techniques and best practices to campus.
