The Pathways of Public Service and Civic Engagement framework describes approaches to social change in language accessible to students. The Pathways survey complements the framework by supporting students in learning more about their predispositions, understanding, and interest in social change work. Participating institutions benefit by having access to their students (nonidentified) data which can support strategic planning, learning outcome development, program development, communication strategies, and more. Presenters will provide an overview of the Pathways framework. They also share examples of how universities have utilized the six pathways and survey results to build an infrastructure that supports holistic community engagement. Participants then engage in an interactive activity to envision how they may use the Pathways framework to inform their work.
