This presentation explores how one regional university in the United States has recently developed campus-wide curricular and co-curricular programming related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). First, the programming seeks to motivate faculty to explore incorporating the SDGs into their teaching, research, and service. Second, it aims to inspire students to examine ways to link the SDGs to their class assignments such as in speeches, essays, and research papers. Third, it wants to encourage staff and student organization leaders to discover ways to align their campus and community programs with the 17 SDGs. The SDG programming began in spring 2024. The university is now assessing whether to expand the SDG programming or limit it to a particular audience.
