In this session, we will highlight the Swearer Center’s approach and systems to facilitate community engagement and matchmaking in Providence and Rhode Island. As members of Swearer’s Community Partnership Team, we will share our story, experience, and practice to our work within our partnership to illuminate our long-standing commitment to our community. We will explore: (1) Centering Partnership Building, (2) Listening for Community Priorities, (3) Our Matchmaking Approach, (4) Infrastructure for Collaboration. We hope participants gain knowledge on our approach to building authentic relationships and partnerships within their community. We will share an array of collaboration processes that facilitate this work.
