Originally from Wisconsin, after completing her undergraduate degree she was an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer in the New York City Schools. On campus she is the current director of the interdisciplinary Peace & Justice major. Mother of three, she is also active in DEI initiatives in her local community.
