In 2018, the University of Delaware (UD) established the Community Engagement Course of Study (CES), a four-year co-curricular program open to all undergraduate students. This "honors style" program focuses on implementing a student's area of study in communities. This session will utilize the UD CES program to map and discuss the evolution of service, scholarship, and engagement in student scholarship. Participants will each receive a link to the soon-to-be-published glossary of engagement terms (published as a part of a multi-university CAA grant). They will complete a worksheet to determine their current work (i.e., service, service learning, community engagement, etc.) and then brainstorm ways to "level up" by sharing best practices and beginning to document the next steps.
