                                        Description
This session shares the experiences of boundary-spanners at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and their work to bridge the gap between academic and community lines to address food insecurity in their own UTEP students. It addresses the question, "how do community engagement centers and practitioners innovate to address social justice and equity concerns on college campuses?" Presenters will share their own process of understanding the need, developing a response, involving key players, and implementing a solution by sharing the model of their convening to address food insecurity at UTEP.
