Brandon Reed, a second-year student at the University of Maine at Farmington, is a dedicated student advocate and leader that works tirelessly to find new ways of engaging with younger voters to get them excited about politics and local government. His efforts help establish and organize various political clubs that focus on the pressing issues in society. He also supports first-generation students in finding their voice on campus and has significantly promoted self-advocacy and policy change. His work with the National Youth Leadership Training trains scouts and ventures to become leaders both in and out of scouting. His mission has always been to use politics to create informed and engaged individuals who will have the knowledge and skills to become active members of society and passionate leaders of tomorrow.
