Through the Newman Civic Fellowship, Campus Compact provides students with training and resources that nurture their assets and passions and help them develop strategies for social change. The yearlong program, named for Campus Compact found Frank Newman, recognizes and supports community-committed students who are changemakers and public problem-solvers at Campus Compact member institutions. Fellows from the 2021-2022 academic year have prepared reflection videos about their experiences and the ways that being a Newman Civic Fellow impacted their engagement in the movement for social change. After watching the reflection videos, the Newman Civic Fellows will answer questions from participants moderated by Clarissa Laguardia, Campus Compact Democracy Fellow.
