Elaine Ward is Associate Professor of Higher Education at Merrimack College. She is currently spending her sabbatical working with the American Council on Education (ACE) building the Carnegie Elective Classifications Research Lab examining the public purpose of higher education while advancing research capacity across the next generation of publicly engaged scholars.
