About this event

Over the past year, while the political landscape placed limits, threats, and attacks on refugees, higher education rose to the occasion and not only upheld but expanded their commitments to supporting refugees. This webinar, hosted in partnership with Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR), will illuminate the ways in which campuses are meeting the moment and provide opportunities for you to engage.

You can access "Meeting the Moment," ECAR's newest Real-Time Rapid Impact Evaluation, here: https://www.everycampusarefuge.org/meeting-the-moment-report/

Every Campus A Refuge

Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR) was born out of a deep sense of urgency and compassion in response to the global refugee crisis. Dr. Diya Abdo, a professor at Guilford College and the daughter of Palestinian refugees, was profoundly moved by the plight of millions displaced by conflict. Her personal connection to the refugee experience fueled her commitment to making a difference.
