Learn more about the retreat
The Changemakers Retreat is an immersive, four-day experience designed for community engagement professionals and campus leaders who want to push boundaries and expand their impact. Created for those who are seeking an authentic approach to leadership, the retreat offers space to reflect and reconnect with purpose alongside peers who are similarly dedicated to this work.
Over four days, participants are given the tools, space, and community they need to come into their own identities as campus leaders. Through a series of interactive workshops, equity-centered community building, coaching, and goal setting, participants develop their skills to advance civic and community engagement work on their campus.
Break up your day-to-day in a low stress environment with people who “get” you, all while gaining invaluable tools and strategies you can bring back to campus.
Please note that because our national conference is moving to the summer cycle, we will be pausing the Changemakers Retreat in 2027. This means the upcoming June session is your final opportunity to participate in this transformative experience until 2028.
There is a $450 fee to participate, covering curriculum, meals,
hosted reception, and transportation. Registration deadline is May 14th.
Who should attend?
Participation is a benefit of Campus Compact membership and is only open to faculty and staff at member campuses.
We welcome higher education community engagement professionals in faculty or staff roles who are looking to further develop as agents of change. Participants can be at any stage in their careers. The retreat is limited in size to ensure that the retreat is an intimate, tailored experience for each group of participants.
