About this event
Interested in building capacity for a project that impacts low-income students or community members? Come learn more about hosting an AmeriCorps VISTA through Campus Compact! Campus Compact hosts a nationwide VISTA intermediary that places a full-time service member on your campus or with your community partner and is currently recruiting for host sites for our year-long program that starts in summer 2027. You can learn more about the program here, and during this session we’ll review the program, requirements for participation, and the host site application process.
Who should attend?
This event is free and open to Campus Compact members and non-members. Potential VISTA host site supervisors/folks on campuses who are interested in hosting a VISTA are encouraged to attend.
What does this mean? This virtual event will be more interactive in nature, and participation is encouraged!
- You are invited to have your camera on in order to engage with the speakers and other participants
- You can openly ask questions by unmuting yourself or typing them in the chat
- There may be interactive components to this event, such as taking a poll, Q&A, or small group discussion
