Dr. Ying-Chiao Tsao is an Associate Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders at California State University-Fullerton (CSUF). Her academic focus is on imparting multifaceted academic training to better arm speech-language clinicians with knowledge and skills to serve diverse populations through various high impact practices (co-curriculum, service learning, community outreach, peer-to-peer mentoring, Interprofessional education, study abroad, etc.). Dr. Tsao currently serves on a High Impact Practices (HIPs) Advisory Board and as a College Liaison on Assessment Institutional and Effectiveness Committee at CSUF. She received 2014 Stewards of Place for being an outstanding service-learning instructor from CSUF Center for Internships and Community Engagement (CICE) and was recognized as a Faculty Marshal at 2019 Commencement due to my years of HIPs endeavors.
