Edward Remus is the Social Sciences Librarian at Northeastern Illinois University, where he has worked since 2015. Prior to this he worked for over two years as an Adult Services Librarian for the Chicago Public Library's Edgewater Branch. He recently completed a Master's Degree in History from Northeastern Illinois University. He is the organizer and moderator of the NEIU Library's Between Past & Future program, an ongoing series of panel discussions featuring informed speakers with differing perspectives on controversial topics at the intersection of history and politics. His professional research interests include information literacy instruction, research consultation services, events and programs, and intellectual freedom.
