Megan Medina was born during a blizzard in windswept North Dakota. As a young girl she dreamed of changing the world. The call of the mountains brought her to Utah where she found a passion for teaching and community engagement. Her life purpose was fulfilled when, after completing her Masters in Public Administration, she had the opportunity to coordinate the academic programs at the University of Utah’s Bennion Center, including the Bennion Scholars. Now she works every day to help students connect their academic studies to meaningful community engagement through collaborative projects with community partners and faculty mentors.
