Kilo Zamora is known for creating learning environments for
leaders to develop themselves and transform their
communities. Kilo applies his talents as a social change
consultant and a gender studies teacher in the College of
Cultural & Social Transformation, University of Utah. His
awards including the David Morton Allied Health Instructor
Of The Year, Physician Assistant Program, University of
Utah, School of Social Work’s Teacher of the Year, Utah
University of Utah, Pete Suazo Social Justice Award,
Equality Utah Award, Utah Education Association Award,
and Utah Martin Luther King Award. Some of his recent
successes are consulting on PENN States athletic equity
strategies, consulting on Intermoutain Healthcare’s equity
strategies, lead STEM-Utah on the their strategic plan,
consulting Salt Lake Arts Foundation to develop a vision for
inclusive public arts, developing Weber School District’s and
Park City’s first equity plans, and advocating on range of
legislative bills to improve the lives of marginalized people.
