Participants will engage with frameworks for developing student learning outcomes, and draft or revise community engagement specific outcomes for their course. They will take time to determine curricular content and learning activities that support student achievement of outcomes, including possible community engagement activities and projects. Additionally, participants will consider how to prepare students for community-engaged learning, laying the groundwork for meaningful and respectful engagement by setting clear expectations, responsibilities, and dispositions.
