Meghan R. Callaghan is the Coordinator of Community Engagement and Student Volunteerism at BHCC. In 2006 after graduating from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA with an English degree, Meghan joined Massachusetts Campus Compact as an AmeriCorps *VISTA. She served as a VISTA for two years at BHCC and was then hired full-time as the college’s first Coordinator within the Office of Community Engagement. As a resident of Somerville, MA, Meghan volunteers with Community Cooks and is a Board of Director for the non-profit, People Making a Difference. In 2009, Meghan received a certificate of completion from the National Society for Experiential Education, Experiential Education Academy. In spring 2012, Meghan graduated with a Masters of Arts in Critical and Creative Thinking from University of Massachusetts, Boston and was selected as a 2012-2013 New England Campus Compact Community Service Learning Regional Fellow.
