Dr. Lillian Wichinsky, Director of the Center for Community Engagement and Partnerships provides leadership to the USF Tampa campus for community engaged teaching, research, and service.She has forged multiple partnerships through community-engaged research, program evaluation, board service, and service-learning education. Dr. Wichinsky is a licensed community practice social worker and has over 20 years of community practice experience. She has taught for over 18 years primarily in management and community practice social work courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. She is also an evaluation consultant with multiple state and local agencies. Her areas of expertise and research include: evaluation practice, kinship care, global social work, service-learning and community engagement. She has numerous publications and presentations in these areas. Dr. Wichinsky has a Ph.D. from Florida International University in Miami, a master's degree in social work from California State University in Sacramento, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Wichinsky continues to teach in the Honors College as an adjunct using experiential approaches. She attained numerous awards for her teaching approach and in 2018, she received the Community Engaged Educator Award from Florida Campus Compact.
