Megan Halteman Zwart

Megan Zwart is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, IN). Megan received her bachelor’s degree from Calvin College (Grand Rapids, MI) and her PhD from the University of Notre Dame. She teaches classes in the history of philosophy and applied ethics, including food ethics and medical ethics. Megan has published articles in the areas of engaged pedagogy, the ethics of eating and philosophy as a way of life. Her current research examines how to reduce polarization in classroom environments, enabling students to engage in dialogue across difference.
