The goal of this session is to introduce participants to the open-access journal Collaborations: A Journal of Community-Based Research and Practice. Collaborations aims to promote the development of mutually-beneficial partnerships between institutions of higher education and communities and community organizations. The journal seeks to advance public scholarship by publishing thoughtful scholarly articles, reflections on experiential learning, and case studies of exemplary university-community collaborative projects. Collaborations is an academic publication for educators, researchers, students, local community activists, and public scholars.
