Description
During this session, the editors of the Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning (MJCSL) will share data that we collected from various stakeholders to inform our strategic change process, and we will discuss plans and actions MJCSL has taken in response. For the majority of the session, we will lead an activity to prompt individuals to consider the implications of the data we collected for various stakeholders in the field of community engagement: faculty, students, community partners, practitioners, scholars, editors. Participants will leave with a broad understanding of issues facing the field and begin to brainstorm actions they can take to respond to these issues in their own work.
