In this session, attendees will learn the background and overview of the credentialing program and hear from participants from the pilot project that have completed one or more certificates. Session attendees will have a clear understanding of why the program is important for the future of CE as a profession, how to talk with administrators about the need to support professional development, and how to complete one or more micro-credentialing certificates. Attendees will have an opportunity to talk with pilot participants and to get feedback regarding their own professional development experiences.

  • Understanding of the experience of 2019 Pilot participants into their own experience
  • Ability to present evidence of the importance of professional development in CE for their own institutions
