Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Elise Prophete is a third-year student at the University of South Florida majoring in Political Science, and Sustainability Studies. Elise is dedicated to the interdisciplinarity of social justice, and to understanding the connectivity between salient issues a mong her community and generation, including housing availability, environmental racism, and economic stability. She hopes to pursue political organizing and policy work to bring about structural change through reforms that promote democracy, equity, and justice for all.
