Eliana Arriaga is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, double-majoring in Plan II and Government with a certificate in Public Policy. This past summer, she served as a Civic Tech Scholar with Better Futures Institute, contributing to research, technology, and community-focused initiatives to help build a more resilient San Antonio. Previously, she interned with the League of Women Voters of Texas as their Advocacy Intern during the legislative session and completed training as both a Bexar County Election Judge and a Volunteer Deputy Registrar in Travis County. She also works as event staff for the annual Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP) conference. On campus, she serves as Outreach Director for Texas Votes, is an active member of Minority Women Pursuing Law, and participates in Texas Ballet, where she studies classical ballet technique.
