This presentation discusses a model we're developing at the WashU Center for the Humanities, Humanities Action Collectives, in which students work on individual projects while contributing to a broader, publically-engaged project defending state librarians and the first amendment rights of students and community members during a significant rise in book banning legislation and policy in Missouri.
