Description
Dialogic approaches in higher education classrooms can strengthen community, create a sense of belonging, and invite curiosity and connection about others and course content. This session brings together the authors of the recently released book, The Dialogic Classroom in Higher Education: Revolutionary Listening for Curiosity, Engagement, and Deep Learning (Taylor & Francis 2026), to discuss their use of Essential Partners' Reflective Structured Dialogue in higher education classrooms. Important findings from a research study from which data in the book draws will be shared and the presenters will model a few entry points to dialogic teaching that participants can try, reflect on, and ask questions about.
