This roundtable explores how Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) is reimagining campus-community partnerships through the Dragon Outreach Center (DOC) and Vecinos USFQ. The DOC integrates service-learning and community engagement to foster authentic, equity-centered collaboration. Vecinos USFQ demonstrates how projects can sustain community voice and shared leadership across Quito (Cumbayá), the Galápagos Islands (San Cristóbal and Santa Cruz), and the Amazon (Tiputini), while responding to local priorities. Participants will examine these models, learn best practices for sustaining community-driven initiatives, and collaboratively brainstorm strategies to strengthen participatory governance and co-created solutions. This session invites dialogue, exchange, and collective problem-solving, contributing to sustainable community transformation. Attendees will leave with actionable insights and practical ideas for advancing community priorities through authentic, shared ownership.
