What We All Deserve (WWAD) is a youth-led policy advocacy organization advancing basic needs and economic justice through student-driven legislation. We have teams in CA, TX, and NY; we've had six student-written bills in the CA & TX Legislature - two of which were signed into law in 2024. This session will demonstrate how young people can transform lived experience into policy by identifying community issues, crafting solutions, building coalitions, and engaging with legislators. Participants will leave with concrete strategies to support youth-led advocacy in their own communities, while also exploring how advocacy skills translate into professional development and future career pathways.
