This session will showcase the power of dialogic practices to build sustainable cultures where communicating constructively across differences is the norm. Lewis & Clark College has collaborated with Essential Partners since 2023 to build, evaluate, and scale their Community Dialogues program, which now includes campus-wide dialogues as well as dialogic classes, campus symposia, student programs, and a new community partnership. Participants in this session will gain an overview of Lewis & Clark's approach to embed dialogic principles into its campus culture. They'll take away impact evaluation data, lessons learned, and insights as the program has grown and changed over time. The session will support participants in their work to foster campus cultures of open discourse, belonging, and connection through dialogue.
