Description

In times of change, higher education institutions can transform traditional service models into meaningful, data-informed systems that sustain long-term community partnerships. This session highlights how The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) leveraged technology, storytelling, and authentic partnerships to rebuild its Day of Service post-pandemic. Presenters will share how Power BI analytics, campus collaboration, and community-driven design helped align student learning with civic well-being. Participants will explore how to use data as a hopeful tool for reflection, connection, and growth—reframing metrics not as numbers, but as narratives of belonging and unity. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to innovate and build capacity in their own engagement ecosystems.
